NYT Strands Today (Game #272) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #272, are…
- WIND
- TO LIVE
- COME
- SIMPLE
- REAL
- BLAWS
- FANTASY
- SPANGRAM: BOHEMIANRHAPSODY
- My rating: Difficult
- My score: 4 hints
To be honest, this one has me completely baffled. I’ve been asking the NYT puzzle makers to make Strands harder for ages, so I don’t complain when I get a difficult puzzle – but I simply didn’t make the connection between these words at all until I discovered the spangram, which is at the very end of my game was.
I blame the theme clue here from Yas! Queen, mainly because it meant absolutely nothing to me. I’m old and out of touch and didn’t even know this was a sentence so it completely caught me off guard. Obviously the Queen aspect should have given it away, but no. To add, the answers here are all regular words, and I have not mentally put them together to form the text of BOHEMIANRHAPSODY. All my fault, no complaints.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
