I really, really struggled with today’s Strands. I struggled to get started and needed a clue to find the first word. It was DECK and I struggled to see how it related to the theme clue, ‘Home stretch?’, so I needed another clue. That gave me PATIO, and at that point I realized what I had to do. However, I struggled to think of or find any other words. I ended up needing clues for BALCONY and SUNROOM, and at that point there were very few words left to form, so I found the others. However, it still took me forever to figure out the spangram, BONUSSPACES. Not a good day.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the new word game from the NYT, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta and is therefore a full member of the NYT stable of games and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
