Once again it took me a while to find the first answer and confirm the theme of today’s Strands puzzle, but once I did the answers fell into place nicely.
It’s actually a fun little brain teaser, which I mostly solved by looking around my room and thinking ‘What color would I call that? Maybe CHARCOAL? Okay, let’s try that’ until I had them all. The spangram, GRAYSCALE, definitely helped, and overall this was on the easy side of things.

What is NYT Strands?
Strands is the new word game from the NYT, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta and is therefore a full member of the NYT games stable and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
