Cameras ready? Then you look for LANDMARKS. Nowadays you have to take a selfie for them, proving to the world that you were there, because that’s the most important thing, right? And make sure you share it with everyone too, rather than enjoying the CASTLE, PALACE or MONUMENT for its own aesthetic value.
I’m not sure why these Strands triggered me so much – I’m probably just grumpy this morning – but I have no such problems with the puzzle itself, and that’s fine. Granted, not that difficult once I got started. But that in itself was a simple task, as TOWER sat prominently on the left side of the grid. An easy day.

Strands is the NYT’s new word game, after Wordle and Connections. It is now out of beta so is a full member of the NYT’s stable of games and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
