NYT Strands Today (Contest #182) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands question, game #182, are…
- RICE
- AVOCADO
- SEAWEED
- MAYONNA
- CUCUMBER
- CRAB
- SPANGRAM: CALIFORNIAROLL
- My rating: Simple
- My score: Perfect
I hate this Strands. Not the puzzle itself – that’s still fine. But CALIFORNIAROLL, which is a disgusting concoction simply because it has MAYO in it. Mayo is one of the worst things ever – not just a horrible food, but a blight on society because IT’S IN ALMOST EVERYTHING AND I HATE IT. Look, you don’t need mayo in things. It doesn’t make them better. In fact, it ruins them. Just leave it out and taste the ingredients instead of smearing this horrible stuff on everything. Especially in sushi, where it’s completely unnecessary.
Oh yeah, there’s a game to talk about here too, right? Well, it’s a pretty easy game because the spangram takes up about half the board. Most of the answers are relatively easy to find, and if you like mayo, I’m sure you’ll be happy with the whole thing.
How was your day? Send me an email and let me know.
