NYT Strands Today (Game #210) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #210, are…
- SQUASH
- PUMPKIN
- ONION
- APPLE
- RADISH
- RUBBISH
- SPANGRAM: AUTUMN
- My rating: Simple
- My score: Perfect
Today I was introduced to KOHLRABI for the first time, a vegetable whose name apparently literally translates as ‘rutabaga’ and which tastes a bit like the stem of a broccoli. Luckily the other answers were a lot easier to find today, although I had a bit of trouble with the spangram, FALLHARVEST, because here in the UK we say ‘autumn’ and not ‘autumn’. But no matter – I was able to find enough answers that eventually the spangram revealed itself to me, and although it still took a while to figure out that the last word was indeed the aforementioned KOHLRABI, I got there without needing any hints .
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Saturday, September 28, Game #209)
