NYT Strands Today (Game #249) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #249, are…
- TWEET
- AFTER
- PART
- LIKE IT
- TO FOLLOW
- REMARK
- REPORT
- SPANGRAM: SOCIALMEDIA
- My rating: Simple
- My score: Perfect
There are days when Strands is just too easy, and today is one of them. The SOCIALMEDIA theme became apparent as soon as I saw TWEET in the top left corner of the board, especially given the clue ‘Extremely Online’, and then it was just a matter of tracking down other related words. It helped that the spangram itself was the words SOCIALMEDIA, so there wasn’t even any ambiguity there. I was done and dusted in about two minutes, which is fine, but I would welcome a slightly tougher challenge tomorrow.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
