NYT Strands Today (Contest #164) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands question, game #164, are…
- FARM
- BUNGALOW
- CRAFTSMAN
- COLONIAL
- CABIN
- HOUSE
- SPANGRAM: HOUSES
- My rating: Simple
- My score: Perfect
I found this Strands puzzle a little harder than most people – or at least those of you who play in the States. That’s because not all of these styles of HOUSES are common outside of the US; I’d never heard of CRAFTSMAN, for example, and terms like RANCH and COLONIAL aren’t terms that would be used here in the UK (although I had heard of them). Luckily, the others were pretty straightforward, as was the spangram itself, so I was able to figure them all out without too much trouble.
