NYT Strands Today (Game #284) – The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #284, are…
- BUNNY
- CLOCK
- STAR
- DIAMOND
- HEART
- ANGEL
- SPANGRAM: COOKIE CUTTER
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: 2 tips
It’s been a long time since I baked cookies. No, actually I’ve been baking cookies for the past few years, but they were just blobs of gooey, chocolatey goodness, not perfectly formed BUBBLES, STARS, DIAMONDS or HEARTS like you would get if you used a COOKIE CUTTER.
Maybe that’s a shortcoming on my part, but they all taste the same, right – so why risk losing some mixture by creating shapes? Then again, I’m not yet five years old and my kids are older teens, so pretty shapes won’t be appreciated in the same way as they would be by a preschooler.
My unfamiliarity with the form certainly hurt my Strands play today; I needed a few hints to get started, and it wasn’t until I saw the spangram that it became easier. Maybe I’ll bake a cookie to cheer myself up.
How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
