The answers to today’s strands, Game #454, are …
- Button
- CLAW
- Clamp
- Barret
- HEADBAND
- Spangram: Hair accessories
- My review: Simple
- My score: Perfect
Today’s Spangram was like an oversized scrunchie that took a huge part of the puzzle.
Unlike Bobby Pins, today’s words all describe hair ornaments. I struggled to see Barret, because this is known as a hair slide in the UK, but the rest was easy to recognize.
As the father of two girls, I am completely aware of the world of her accessories and I have been a willing model/victim of my daughter’s experiment. It is an activity, along with painting my nails, both found completely hysterical.
It is also the reason why I relate to Buzz Lightyear and the scene in the first Toy story Film in which he is stolen by Sid’s sister and Mrs. Nesbitt is for the purposes of a puppet tea – “You keep the Melkweg for a minute, and suddenly you notice that darjeling with Marie Antoinette and her little sister”. That is paternity.
How did you do it today? Let me know in the comments below.
Yesterday’s answers NYT Strands (Friday 30 May, Game #453)
