NYT Stards Today (Game #470) – The answers
The answers to today’s strands, Game #470, are …
- ETUDE
- SUITE
- MINUET
- NOCTURNE
- SONATA
- Introduction
- Spangram: Piano pieces
- My review: Moderate
- My score: 1 hint
I urgently needed a hint to start today and the word I got – etude – is one that I am only familiar with when playing Wordel Spin -off Quordle, where it appeared several times this year.
It is a piece of music that is used as an exercise for students and is meant to stretch and test their skills.
When I had this prompt, I managed to find the other words without further help.
All these words for piano blocks are known, but I was not sure what they all meant. Minute, for example, I had assumed that it meant a very short piece, but is actually a slow, stately dance in a triple time. Every day is a school day with strands.
How did you do it today? Let me know in the comments below.
