Strands is the newest word game in the NYT after people like DevourSpelling with and connections – and it’s very nice. However, it can be difficult, so read on for my strands of hints.

In addition to the pleasure of completing the word, the other joy of strands are the places where it comes to you. Today a journey through Memory Lane and the modest but often frustrating uncomfortable hero of technology.
The theme “… not included” immediately reminded me of frustrations on Christmas Day to be gifted toys that were made superfluous because they needed some AA batteries.
Batteries required is the longest spangram that I can remember to see and it recorded a huge part of the puzzle. I tapped “batteries” twice before I saw the added “required”.
