NYT Stards Today (Game #450) – The answers
The answers to today’s strands, Game #450, are …
- FARM
- Games
- ANIMAL
- STORY
- Hungry
- Service power
- Spangram: Dystopic novel
- My review: Moderate
- My score: Perfect
Today we were looking for three pairs of words that formed the titles of dystopic novels (Animal farm” Hungry gamesAnd Handmaid’s Tale) – Not that I initially realized this.
Only when I got animals and the covenant to farm, the cent fell. Before that I was not sure what the theme “a strange new world meant”.
A dystopic novel is defined as a story that takes place in a fictional society or world that is often characterized by an oppressive regime and government or religious control after a sort of collapse.
As is the case with all three choices of today, they also reflect the time in which they are written and bear warnings about possible future when we are too busy surviving to endure the time on word puzzles.
How did you do it today? Let me know in the comments below.
