In some ‘boy mom’ videos online, some women who raise a son describe when the longest of your life falls apart, where others criticize their son’s future husband for everything, from cooking to cleaning.
Last year Creator Mellissa Viral went after sharing she regularly has ‘date nights’ with her 12-year-old son to teach him how to treat women.
“GRWM (finish me with me) for a date with my boy,” Melissa wrote her video she posted on Instagram.
“In principle you give them an allowance ($ 50) and they take you on a date,” she explained.
“The idea is that you prepare them for how you can take a girl with you in the future, so that they are not completely lost when the time comes,” she continued.
“So you help them on the road with planning and implementing a date and you learn them basic etiquette and ways.”
She added: “It is really nice because we spend a thoughtful time together – but the catch is that I let him plan it.”
Although some users thought it was charming, others suggested that it could cause problems in the future when the son tries to form his own relationships and create unnecessary issues for all parties later in life.
