Octavia Spencer has revealed that her home is haunted by the ghost of a western movie star, who says she “loves him” because he chases away all the “bad people” who shouldn’t be on her property.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner, who lives in a 1927 Hispanic-style home in Toluca Lake, California, opened up on Friday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show about her supernatural “protector.”
“I need to know if your house is haunted because I really like these kinds of stories,” DeGeneres, 63, told the actress, adding, “I really believe in ghosts.”
“Me too,” Spencer agreed, before telling her psychic roommate. “I grew up watching westerns, and I bought this house and it belonged to a man who did westerns, so I must have been a fan of his.”
