Officers rush to Airds High School in Sydney’s south-west before student is charged over alleged violent act
A teenage boy has been arrested and charged after he allegedly pulled a knife on another student during a fight at a high school.
Police were called to Airds High School in Sydney’s south-west after reports of a fight at around 2.50pm on Tuesday.
Officers from the Campbelltown City Police Area Command rushed to the high school and were told that a 12-year-old boy had displayed a knife at the school, following which a physical altercation ensued.
The boy was arrested at a nearby address and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he was charged with breaching bail.
He has not been granted bail and will appear in juvenile court today.
Police told Daily Mail Australia the investigation is still ongoing.
This is the second alleged knife incident at a Sydney high school this week.
On Monday, police were called to Pennant Hills High School following a suspected knife incident.

Emergency services received a call about an emergency at a school in Sydney’s northwest at around 12pm.
A teenage girl was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries.
