AMRITSAR: After his wife Navjot Kaur’s recovery from cancer, cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu resumed his career political activities after a long break.
On Thursday, Sidhu, accompanied by his wife, Navjot Kaur, held a press meet at their home in Amritsar. When asked about his return to active politics, Sidhu said Congress leaders would answer the question. He said he has always stayed true to his principles through comedy shows, laugh challenges and cricket. He emphasized that he would fulfill any task assigned by the party high command and reaffirmed that he had never left Amritsar.
Sidhu said that if he could not manage his family, he would not be able to bring justice to the world. He emphasized that everyone around him is like family, with his primary focus being on caring for his wife during her illness. He said he would consider himself lucky if even 10% of people took inspiration from his journey. During her cancer journey, Sidhu underlined the need for a healthy lifestyle and shared tips on how to prevent cancer. tnn
