According to for OnePlus, the OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 12 introduces visual changes to the user interface. The home screen has been updated with a new design and iconography for system functions. All elements have a continuous curvature that is said to give a sense of visual uniformity. There are new flux themes that can be customized with system wallpapers or customized with photos.

Users can customize the lock screen to their preference with features such as clock color blending, glass textures, blurred backgrounds, AI depth effects, and AI autofills. Users can also drag the divider on the split windows to resize them, or tap them to expand their viewing area. OnePlus has also added an iOS-like functionality that separates the actions for accessing the quick settings and notification panel.
