OnePlus Buds Pro 3 confirmed to launch in India next week
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be debuting in India and other global markets next week. The true wireless (TWS) earbuds will be arriving as a successor to last year’s OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds are expected to come with an IP55 rating and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. They will likely retain the dual drivers of their predecessor. The upcoming Buds Pro 3 are said to last up to 43 hours on a single charge.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be officially unveiled on August 20, the brand announced via an X after on Monday. The event will take place at 6:30 PM IST in India. In global markets, the launch will take place at 9:00 AM (EST), 2:00 PM (BST), and 3:00 PM (CEST). OnePlus describes the new device as the company’s “best audio offering yet” with “precisely balanced tones.”
OnePlus has a special landing page announced the launch date of the Buds Pro 3 on its website. They are shown with an oval-shaped housing and this design is a striking departure from previous OnePlus earbuds that had a square design. Interested customers can click on the “Notify Me” button on the website to receive new updates about the launch.
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 Specifications, Price (Expected)
According to previous leaks, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be IP55 dust and water resistant. They are expected to deliver up to 43 hours of battery life with the case, up from four hours compared to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. They are said to feature Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and a dual driver setup with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are expected to get a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) and support for an LHDC 5.0 audio codec with 24-bit/192kHz audio. They are said to offer up to 50dB of adaptive noise cancellation, up from the 49dB of the Buds Pro 2.
OnePlus’ upcoming flagship earbuds are said to be priced around Rs. 12,000 in India. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 were launched in February last year with a price tag of Rs. 11,999.
