With her special occasion just hours away, a woman from the vibrant travel community also got her makeover done by professionals. But the makeover didn’t go down well on TikTok.

The nameless beauty’s stunning transformation was shared on @make-upbygolondon account on the platform, where the duo posted both before and after clips.

At the beginning of the now viral videowhich has already been viewed more than 3.5 million times, social media users can see the bride sitting excitedly on the chair, patiently waiting for the gurus to work their magic.

The young woman already looked gorgeous, with a chic manicure, a sexy white lace top and her long hair braided into a cute braid.

The light brown shade accentuated her beautiful eyes, combined with eyelash extensions, and her flawless skin glowed and shimmered – all before the London make-up professionals had even gotten to work.

But with a little makeup, beauty fanatics gave the beauty a completely new look – one that unfortunately wasn’t to everyone’s taste.

The bride’s ‘after’ photos showed a cakey foundation, heavy contouring, a rosy pink flush on the cheeks, darker and neatly contoured brows, and a nude pout.

The stunning transformation was completed with a sexy smokey eye makeup look, stunning gemstone earrings and a sky-high hairstyle.

The beauty fanatic looked stunning as she posed in her glamorous gown, which featured a beautiful veil with intricate detailing and silver elements around her bardot-style top.

“Our Traveller Bride Doll,” the makeup pros wrote in the caption, with nearly 2,000 people commenting.

One of them joked, “Toddlers and Tiaras vibes.”

Someone else joined in the conversation: “How can you look younger after all that fuss?”

Many also seemed to have something to say about the shade of the foundation and the choice of brown color.

“Orange queen!” one troll chuckled, while hundreds thought she looked better “without makeup.”

“She’s beautiful, she just needs to use less spray tan,” someone else agreed.

Traditions in the Gypsy/Traveler communities

Nomadic lifestyle: Traditionally, many travellers have adopted a nomadic lifestyle, living in caravans and moving frequently. This mobility is a core aspect of their identity, reflecting a deep connection to freedom and independence.

Strong family ties: Family is central to traveler culture. Extended families often live and travel together, creating a strong support network. Weddings and social events are important community events that strengthen family ties.

Plain language: Many travellers speak Shelta, also known as Cant or Gammon, a distinct language that combines elements of Irish, English and other languages. This language serves as a cultural marker and a means of private communication within the community.

Religious practices: The Traveller community often follows Roman Catholicism, with religious festivals and milestones such as baptisms, communions and weddings being particularly important. However, individual beliefs and customs can vary widely.

Unique parties: Events such as horse fairs and traditional weddings are important social gatherings for travelers. These occasions are characterized by elaborate preparations, vibrant clothing, and communal participation.

“She looks TERRIBLE, it’s embarrassing,” said another mean woman.

Fortunately, there were also many kind reactions, as users responded en masse to the bullies who they believed were simply ‘jealous’.

Someone wrote: ”If people don’t know what an Irish traveller is..😂 Congratulations sweetie!”

Someone else added: “Traveler wedding dresses are SO beautiful. She looks stunning.”

“She is so beautiful and I love her voluminous hair,” wrote a third.
