With so many different options on the high street, it can often be overwhelming to find the right jacket for the cold weather, especially one that doesn’t cost a lot of money.

But luckily Marks & Spencer is once again to the rescue, with an outerwear item that’s already proven to be a big hit with mums.

Introducing your new fall and winter obsession: the Thermowarmth™ Diamond Quilted Padded Coat which is ”designed to keep you cozy when the temperatures drop”.

The stylish but functional item has a regular fit, a zipper and a high collar for extra coziness.

Meanwhile, lightweight Thermowarmth™ padding keeps you warm, while Stormwear™ technology provides a water-repellent finish so you stay dry in light showers.

The jacket, available in four colours, also has a fleece lining in the two welt pockets and the hidden zipper on the inside provides extra insulation.

For €69, shoppers can purchase the essential winter collection in Black, Mocha, Beige and Midnight Navy – beautiful colors that will never go out of style.

Available in a range of sizes, from UK 6 to UK 24, this versatile wardrobe must-have also comes with a hood to keep you extra warm on even the coldest days.

So it’s no surprise that the £69 deal has already taken the internet by storm, with one shopper calling it ‘non-mummy’ and is also easy to clean, as Hello Magazine reports this.

Dozens of delighted customers have given the jacket the maximum five stars, with one writing: ”This jacket has a great fit, is lightweight and warm. I like that the hood is not too big or too loose.”

I’m a size 16 and found the perfect autumn buys from Asda – you’ll have to run to get the coats and boots

Another also had only positive things to say, writing: ”I love the hood with the drawstrings as my hood can stay up in windy weather.

“As a wheelchair user I was looking for one to cover my thighs and it makes sure I get cold quickly, very impressed.”

Someone else said: ‘I wanted a jacket that I could walk to work in every day. Showerproof, warm and long.”

Although the feedback was mostly good, there was also some criticism.

Why everyone loves M&S

Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:

“M&S has really pulled out all the stops this season, there are so many great products to be excited about.

“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’, that idea has long since disappeared and is now one of the leading retailers for women’s clothing.

“The handbag range in particular is super strong: they sell 170% versus plan, with many more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.

“The brand is also now number 1 in terms of style perceptions, compared to last year’s number 3. This comes from a very strong design team focused on modernizing the brand, taking into account not only how the pieces look, but also how easy they are to wear.

“Price is also a big factor as you can get lots of good quality pieces, all for under £30.

“After a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are so many more fantastic pieces to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

“Think leopard print dresses, colorful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and great accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year after year.”

An M&S fan said: ”I loved the jacket but unfortunately when I tried it on I found that the hood was not removable.

”I found it very uncomfortable around the neck. This was my reason for returning.”

Someone else took issue with the lack of sizing, writing: ‘I don’t understand why Marks and Spencer can’t include some classic jackets for a small range. I had to reluctantly return this jacket.

“I can’t choose another jacket style because I still have the problem of the sleeves being too long!”
