Speaking to the camera, Jen, who is known on social media as @thejenjones, says, “Jen, are you getting Botox? Not me.

“I drink juice, honey. I mean, maybe one day I’ll get it. You never know.

“But for now, I’m going to show you how to make my wrinkle-reducing juice.

“Purple cabbage helps with wrinkles and ripens the skin.

“Purple cabbage also contains a lot of vitamin A, which helps with the regrowth of your skin cells.

“Combining pineapple and purple cabbage is great for inflammation, heart health and digestion, and helps keep your skin young and vibrant.

“If it’s your first time juicing purple cabbage, use a small amount because I don’t want anyone running to the bathroom and blaming me.”

She advises those who do this to make sure they clean their fruits and vegetables first before cutting them up.

Jen continues, “Now I’m going to throw this straight into my juicer. Cut off that skin.

Biggest beauty flaws

Fabulous’ Beauty Editor Tara Ledden has shared the do’s and don’ts when it comes to beauty.

“No matter how much time and money you spend on your beauty routine, if you don’t get the basics right, the rest is wasted.

“There aren’t many non-negotiables, but these are the biggest beauty flaws that sabotage your regimen.”

  • Not wearing SPF: Sun damage is the leading cause of premature skin aging, so if you want to keep your skin looking plump and radiant, sunscreen is essential.
  • To use expired products: At best they are ineffective and do not deliver the results they promise, at worst they cause irritation and infection. The shelf life of beauty products varies: for example, mascara usually has a shelf life of 3 to 6 months, while lipstick lasts 9 to 18 months. Check the ‘POA’ symbol on the package (it looks like a jar and has a number inside that tells you how many months it is safe once opened. If you can’t remember when you opened your product, throw it away then away and start again, marking the month and year with a permanent marker on the package.
  • Not knowing your undertone: If you use makeup with the wrong undertone, it will never look natural no matter how many times you blend it! An easy trick to find out if you have a cool, warm, or neutral undertone is to check the veins on your wrist: if they appear blue, you have cool undertones, if they are green, you have warm ones, and if they have a be mixed. you have neutral.
  • Skip heat protectant: It may feel unnecessary, but just like sun damage to the skin, excessive heat is the most common cause of hair damage. So if you want shiny, healthy hair, or if you want to grow it longer, using a heat protection product is essential.
  • Not washing your face before going to bed: It’s that simple: If you don’t wash your face before you go to sleep, anything left on your skin during the day will remain on your skin even longer, clogging your pores and drying out the surface. Any skin care applied on top won’t be effective if there’s a layer of dirt underneath, and you’ll probably end up with dirty pillows too – yuck!
