A mother has sent social media users into hysterics after her wig purchase turned out to be a total failure.
The anonymous mother became an internet phenomenon after her daughter, known only as Shaniquee, shared her failed attempt on TikTok.

According to the 20-year-old beauty enthusiast from the UK, her mother paid £60 for the wig, a short braided bob.
In recent years, the chic hairstyle has become incredibly popular, both among influencers and on the catwalk. And that is clear.
According to experts, the glamorous cut is not only “super sophisticated,” but can also earn you a free facelift if done right.
Unfortunately for the mother, things didn’t quite go according to plan, as daughter Shaniquee couldn’t contain her laughter as she proudly showed off the necklace on her head.
As the 20-year-old filmed her mother styling the wig, she immediately started laughing, the video showed.
“If you laugh, you’ll go to hell,” replied the mother, dressed in a baby blue polo shirt.
After the £60 purchase was styled and adjusted as best as possible, the mum turned around – and it was game over for Shaniquee (@_shaniqueeex) whose priceless response sent others into hysterics.
The short haircut, in a gorgeous deep brown color, had the bottom part completely rolled up. Users on social media were quick to note that it seemed like a must-have hairstyle for the winter.
“No, it looks like the crocheted hats,” someone said.
Another was completely bewildered and asked: “Wig or fisherman’s hat???”
A third person noticed a striking resemblance between the hat and a cartoon character beloved by children.
“It gives Strawberry Shortcake.”
“I’m laughing my head off,” said someone else, laughing.
”Auntie threatened you with hell, but you still have no control over it.”
