The accused murderer and former roommate of Queensland Teen Pheobe Bishop is forbidden to provide NDIS services.
Tanika Bromley is currently being held Brisbane Women’s Correctional Center after she and her partner James Wood were accused of the murder of Pheobe.
According to the handicap regulator, Bromley, 33, is blacklisted to work with the NDIS.
“A prohibition order was given on 12 June 2025 … that forbidden Tanika Kristan Bromley to be involved in the provision of NDIS support or services to NDIS-FINANCED participants,” said the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
The prohibition order came into force on 13 June for a period of six months and in all states and areas of Australia.
Daily Mail Australia has previously unveiled Bromley was once good friends with Pheobe’s mother Kylie Johnson and even worked for her NDIS support company.
Mrs. Johnson made Bromley superfluous from her role at Smiley’s Support Services last year.
Pheobe then moved in with Bromley and Wood, 34, in their gin gin -property, near Bundaberg in Central Queensland.

The 17-year-old was missing on May 15, then, near Bundaberg Airport Book a trip to WA to visit her boyfriend.
Earlier this month, the police discovered the remains of the teenager near Goodnight Scrub National Park.
In the following weeks, Rumors are spread in the gin gin community that Pheobe was a NDIS receiver through her mother’s company.
However, NDIS records show that Smiley’s has approved the registration status and is in force until it is renewed in February 2026.
Mrs. Johnson went to social media to hit the allegations.
“We have heard a few rumors about ourselves lately, but we certainly want to assure you that all that smiley’s are not planning to close,” she wrote, adding that the company ‘continued as usual’.
“Team Smiley’s do not let the bullies and trolls win and although I am not there right now, this company has a great team that will continue for everyone.”

She added: “Your handicap will only define you if you allow it and Phee never lets her hair define.”
Mrs. Johnson did not state what the handicap of Pheobe was. However, before she disappeared, the teenager had shared a message with Tiktok on borderline personality disorder.
The latest reports from Pheobe to social media suggested that the troubled teenager had fallen with her mother and would not return home. She also claimed in SMS messages to her aunt, Caz Johnson, that her mother had told her to ‘get out’.
The flat -littered flat where she lived with Wood and Bromley was just on her mother’s things.
Bromley and Wood have not entered supplications and are held in prison until their next judicial appearance on 11 August.
A criminologist told Daily Mail Australia that they should be housed in protective detention to prevent acts of ‘convicted justice’ on them.
