Three people have been killed after a small plane crashed into a paddock before bursting into flames in Victoria’s East Gippsland.
Emergency services were called to Hayfield-Upper Maffra Rd in Tinamba West shortly before 6pm on Saturday.
Police were told the plane circled the area before crashing and catching fire.

The pilot and two passengers, who have yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The three passengers were the only occupants on board.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
