Plane forced to make emergency landing at Sydney airport after fuel leak during flight
A plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Sydney Airport after an emergency call was received about a fuel leak during the flight.
The United Parcel Service (UPS) plane, with three people on board, was scheduled to return to the airport around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
The fuel leak was reported less than two hours after UPS152 departed Sydney at 7:36 p.m. for Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport in China.

A spokesperson for NSW Fire and Rescue told Newswire that fire engines had been sent to the runway, along with the airport’s own fire service.
It appears the plane had just crossed the New South Wales-Queensland border when the distress signal was given and the pilots turned back.
Technicians inspected the plane after it landed safely in Sydney.
