Play Balatro, NBA 2K25 and more games coming soon on Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade, a CNET Editors’ Choice Award pick, is filled with familiar and classic games, along with exclusive titles that you can play for a flat fee. $7 per month (€7, AU$10Subscribers can now play the deck-building card game Balatro, and the service will soon add the next installment in the NBA 2K franchise.
You can find many Apple Arcade games on the App Store, but they have paywalls and ads that can hinder your gaming experience. With an Apple Arcade subscription, you can play any game without paywalls and ads, a feature usually indicated by the “Plus” in the game name. And you can share your subscription with up to five family members, so you always have someone to play games with.
Apple added NFL Retro Bowl 25 and other games to the service in September, and it will add these games soon.

You’ll be able to play these games on Apple Arcade soon, but there are plenty of other games available to play on the service now for $7 a month or $50 a year. You can also try Apple Arcade for free for one month when you first sign up, or you can get a free three-month trial when you purchase a new Apple device.
