PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Xbox Game Pass, offering subscribers a large and ever-growing library of games. There are three PlayStation Plus tiers — Essential ($10 per month), Extra ($15 per month) and Premium ($18 per month) — and each gives subscribers access to games. However, only subscribers to the Extra and Premium tiers have access to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
PlayStation recently added added a dozen games to its game catalogincluding the award-winning fantasy RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And if you want more PlayStation Plus games, you can free monthly games all subscribers — even Essential plan subscribers — will have access to it in August.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
This role-playing game is almost a decade old, but it’s still relevant. You play as mercenary monster hunter Geralt of Rivia as he attempts to find his adopted daughter, Ciri, before dark forces find her first. And if you’re playing it on a PS5, you’ll enjoy updated graphics, newly developed mods, and more improvements over the original.
Wild hearts
Tracking down and vanquishing enormous, mythical beasts with a sword can be fun, and Wild Hearts asks, “Is it just as much fun to hunt these creatures with various devices and bits of technology?” The answer is yes. Learning how to use the game’s building mechanics to take down the beasts is a fun and rewarding challenge.
Cult of the Lamb
In this game you play as a cute lamb possessed by an unknown entity and must spread the good word of the mysterious stranger. Start your own cult, build a community of forest worshippers and choose whether to sacrifice your followers in the fight against other false prophets and cults. What could possibly go wrong?
Watchdogs 2
A criminal organization is using an invasive operating system to monitor and control people’s lives, and it’s up to you and a group of hackers to stop them. You can achieve your goal by stealthily hacking and manipulating the environment around your enemies or by going in with guns drawn. It’s up to you.

These are just some of the games PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to play on August 20. Subscribers will be able to play these games then.
