NEW DELHI: Meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Monday evening during the G20 summit in Brazil. The two leaders discussed cooperation in areas such as technology, green energy, security and innovation.
“I had an extremely productive meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Rio de Janeiro. For India: the Comprehensive Strategic partnership with Britain is a huge priority. In the coming years we would like to work closely together in areas such as technology, green energy, safety, innovation and technology. We also want to strengthen trade and cultural ties,” PM Modi wrote on X.

Modi’s agenda on the first day of the G20 summit included meetings with leaders from several countries, including France, Italy, Norway, Portugal and Indonesia.
During a session on social programs, Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s efforts to combat poverty and hunger. He also expressed support for Brazil’s proposal to create a global alliance to address these issues.
