Poco C40 has been spotted on the websites of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) Thailand and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) India, which suggests the C40 nameplate and suggests that the new Poco smartphone will be hitting the market soon. The NBTC Thailand has, as spotted, given its approval to the smartphone. The certification pages do not provide any details on the specifications of the smartphone. The upcoming smartphone has been listed on the NBTC Thailand website with model number 220333QPG and the model name “Poco C40”. Poco is yet to officially confirm the launch of the smartphone in India.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the Poco C40 has been spotted on the websites of NBTC Thailand and BIS India. While the listings don’t provide any details on the smartphone’s specifications, they do hint at the previously rumoured Poco C40 name and also point to the upcoming launch of the new Poco phone.
As noted, the smartphone has been certified by NBTC Thailand and is listed on their website under the model number 220333QPG and the model name “Poco C40”.
Poco C40 specifications (rumors)
According to a recent report, the Poco C40 is said to be joining Poco’s affordable C-series. The smartphone is said to not feature Qualcomm, MediaTek or Unisoc SoC and is instead said to feature a JR510 SoC. The upcoming Poco smartphone is also said to come with MIUI Go, which is said to be a special version of the MIUI operating system. According to the report, the smartphone was also spotted on the Federal Communications Commission listing with model number 220333QPG.
Poco is yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone and has not provided any other details. Neither Poco nor Xiaomi have provided details about the new custom user interface called MIUI Go, which is yet to debut.
