Poundland fans are raving about ‘cozy’ hoodie and jogging sets to keep you warm
THE AUTUMN season is well and truly here, which means it’s time to ditch the T-shirt and shorts for cozy loungewear sets to stay warm.
Today is the day that millions of cash-strapped Brits will be hit by a staggering 10% rise in energy bills, with the average dual-fuel bill paid by a direct debit customer increasing from £1,568 to £1,717.
However, if you’re not keen to spend a fortune to stay cozy, Poundland shoppers have discovered the ultimate bargain that’s both cozy and stylish.
A customer of the popular discount retailer, Leanne Jade, took to Facebook to let other fashion fans know about the fantastic find – and we can see why it’s become such a hit.
According to the money-conscious brunette beauty, Poundland is now stocking hoodie and jogging sets at an affordable price that won’t break the bank.
Everyone raved about the beautiful two-part piece, wrote Leanne the mail: ”Absolutely in love with these hoodie and jogging sets.
“So silky soft, beautiful quality and form-fitting,” she told other members of the Poundland Appreciation Society on the platform.
The shopper shared mirror selfies of herself modeling the lightweight khaki loungewear item, adding that the pieces were an “absolute bargain”, setting her back £8 each.
The beautiful hoodie, which would also look great paired with jeans for grocery shopping, features front pockets – ideal for keeping your fingers warm – and a practical drawstring.
The matching bottoms have a slim fit and tighter legs around the ankles.
The fashion-conscious fashionista raved about the £16 purchase, adding that she had also made the same set in mink – and there are plenty of other colors to choose from.
“Don’t walk, run to Poundland,” she advised others not to sleep on the deal that is “cheaper than Primark.”
According to Leanne, the sets are made of velor and are true to size too – it doesn’t get much better than this.
Since it was uploaded to the page – which is home to almost 110,000 members – the post has received a lot of attention, with other Poundland fans rushing to comment.
And it looks like it’s best to race down to the local Poundland soon if you don’t want to miss out on the two-piece, as someone confessed they too had bought numerous sets.
An ex-employee on Poundland prices
Holly Laing22, from Northampton, has revealed she worked in Poundland and often heard customers say the same nasty thing.
Holly claimed she worked for Poundland as a Christmas temp for three months in 2015.
She said customers would become annoyed if products individually cost more than £1.
In a comedy video, Holly reenacted a scenario that often occurred during her shift in the bargain shop, where customers were always baffled and annoyed that items could cost more than £1.
Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I’ve heard this a lot”, saying: “POV: Not everything costs £1 in Poundland”.
Holly explained that customers would often say to her: ‘But this is the pound shop, isn’t it?’
“That is very misleading, I will only pay for that if it is a pound.”
“Disgusting, what a rip off.”
”I liked them so much that I brought four of them,” the superfan of the chain store chuckled.
Another chimed in: “This is what I got last week.”
Someone else was keen to get their hands on the handbag-friendly loungewear item after shedding pounds.
”Oh, that’s a good buy! I have lost a lot of weight and need cheap new warm clothes.”
“I’ve seen this one, the khaki is beautiful,” one style enthusiast told others.
