What’s more, not only are the prices handbag-friendly (just £4 each), but the scents are also thought to be very similar to the high-quality aromas we all love.

So if you’re looking for cheap perfumes – or are already stocking up on Christmas gifts that won’t cost you a lot of money – read on.

Among the goodies beauty lovers on Facebook are raving about include Poundland’s Pink Plush – a £4 version of Moschino’s Toy 2 Bubblegum, which costs £43.

Another pink-themed bottle is their new Quartz – a sweet-smelling aroma that customers say is a dupe of Paco Rabanne’s Fame.

Unlike the Poundland lookalike, the chic version will cost you a whopping £55, meaning you’ll save yourself a whopping £50.

If you enjoy sprinkling yourself with Katy Perry’s Purr, £28, but want to try something cheaper, fans recommend trying Perfect Seduction.

The cute black cat-themed bottle is a big win in itself – so even if you don’t like the scent, you’ll have a cute little home decor piece.

Then there is also Opulent Fizz – completely in keeping with the holidays that are just around the corner.

Priced at a budget-friendly £4, this champagne glass-shaped perfume is believed to be an alternative to the cult favorite Dior J’Adore, £94.99.

The store has also launched something for men – or for anyone who likes the more masculine notes of lavender, vanilla and lemon from Paco Rabanne’s Phantom.

Filled in a cute silver robot, Poundland’s Platinum Pour Homme is a more affordable dupe of the chic scent that retails for almost £70.

The handbag-friendly collection, which recently hit stores, has already taken the internet by storm, with fans rushing to Facebook to share the news.

One customer, Nat Fergusson, started working on it Poundland Appreciation Societywhere she wrote: ”Some fantastic scents for just £4 each!”

An ex-employee on Poundland prices

Holly Laing22, from Northampton, has revealed she worked in Poundland and often heard customers say the same nasty thing.

Holly claimed she worked for Poundland as a Christmas temp for three months in 2015.

She said customers would become annoyed if products individually cost more than £1.

In a comedy video, Holly reenacted a scenario that often occurred during her shift in the bargain shop, where customers were always baffled and annoyed that items could cost more than £1.

Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I’ve heard this a lot”, saying: “POV: Not everything costs £1 in Poundland”.

Holly explained that customers would often say to her: ‘But this is the pound shop, isn’t it?’

“That is very misleading, I will only pay for that if it is a pound.”

“Disgusting, what a rip off.”

The customer, who noticed the new additions at the Sittingbourne branch, described the aromas as ”smelling sweet”.

A fan of the store said: ”I would love to have the cat one, just as a piece of jewellery!”

Another agreed, writing: “The bottles are as beautiful as any designer.”

Someone else tags their friend and says, “We’ll have to look for this one.”

A fourth agreed: “The gold bottle is meant to be jadore dior and smells the same.”
