Premier League Chief Tony Bloom has made a proposal to become co-owner of hearts.
The Scottish side is the largest club in fans in the UK.
The foundation of Heart Is the majority shareholder in the club, and they will start with a consultation period after receiving the proposal.
They are given the opportunity to investigate the proposal Brighton owner Bloom55, before he votes on whether they want to approve.
It will buy the Seagulls Chief an interest of 29 percent in the club for £ 9.86 million.
The bid requires that the majority of shareholders say yes and approval of the authorities, including the SFA.
Heart Fans have responded positively to the development and are optimistic that it will prove to be an effective step.

Brighton has enjoyed a meteorical rise under the steward of Bloom since he took over in 2009.
He has supervised two promotions and brings the League One club to the Premier League and the Europa League.
Bloom is also a majority shareholder of the Belgian Pro League club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and buys his interest in 2018.
They have won promotion since his takeover and are currently top of the competition, which finished second last season.
