Premier League darts were closed after their ridiculous pint prices have been revealed.
The competition that takes place in Leedsreturned to the first direct arena on Thursday evening.
Fans were quick to switch off the price of drinks at the location, with eye-skewig figures that greet them when they approached the bar.
You would expect the prices to be a little friendlier in the north than in LondonBut spectators were confronted with a completely different story while standing in line for drinks.
Many had to rub unbelieving in their eyes, because the song “£ 9.25” was illuminated next to the “Single Pint Cup” formulation.
For two pints it was £ 18.50.
That led to indignation on social media, with one account – Football Days away on X – labels the prices as “an absolute joke”.
In the comments, spectators were furious.
One said: “I was there in October, it was £ 8.50 per pint.”
Another went politically with it, and said: “These sports were built on the back of the working class and once they have built it, it is omitted and sold to casuals and influencers and everyone with money.

And a further comment was: “The price of a pint was covered over time! £ 3 everywhere outside London!! “Another commentator cried.
Others were more realistic about the prizes and said: “I was there last night and the queues were huge. A 2-Pinter lasted all night at those prizes.”
Another added: “It’s the price of the arena. Not” the darts“.
