Your skin care routine should change in the fall and winter as the colder and drier weather causes moisture levels to drop.

As a result, Primark has declared its vitamin C infused products ideal for “keeping your skin hydrated during the cozy season”.

The offerings include a cleanser, serum, eye cream and facial mist.

During autumn and winter, the skin often becomes dull due to a lack of sunlight and the harsh, cold air.

Vitamin C is known for its ability to brighten skin by inhibiting melanin production, which can help even out skin tone and give it a radiant glow.

In addition, it is a powerful antioxidant that helps combat oxidative stress caused by aggressive external influences, such as cold winds and heating of indoor spaces.

Both winter inevitabilities can lead to skin damage and premature aging.

Vitamin C neutralizes these free radicals and thus prevents damage to collagen and elastin fibers, which are essential for skin firmness.

The Vitamin C Energizing Jelly Cleanser costs just €4 from the Primark range.

The matching PS… Skin Booster Serum with 10% Vitamin C costs just £7 and is being called a ‘game-changer’ in skin care.

Primark bosses said: “Specifically formulated to brighten, smooth and firm skin, to even out skin tone and reveal a more radiant complexion. Ideal for tired and dull skin or when it needs that little bit of extra boost.

“Raise your hand if your shine level has ever personally fallen victim to the changeable weather.

“The best time to use is in the morning, before your moisturizer and SPF, to ensure you get the protective antioxidant benefits all day long.

“These include protection against pollution, environmental aggressions and sun damage, improving skin appearance and long-term health.”

The PS… Skin + 1% Vitamin C Eye Cream costs €5.

I know what you’re thinking: ‘£60 for Primark?’ Yes, it’s a higher price tag than we’re used to from Primark, but it’s worth every penny.

Field jackets can be found on the backs of celebrities and catwalk models this season, with designer brands Barbour, Burberry and Bottega all favoring the functional look.
Great for wearing over jeans or contrasting with a floral or flowy dress, they are the perfect transitional jacket.

Square neck midi dress with leopard print£18,

You may have seen, heard and read that leopard print isn’t going anywhere in the fall, so to define the trend, this dress is a must.
Sleeves? Bill. Midi length? Bill. Ultra flattering square neck? Bill. It has it all.
