Primark showed off the stylish coat via a post on TikTok, leaving shoppers stunned at how expensive it looked.

“Your wardrobe called, our trench coat answered,” they captioned the video.

The trench coat is from the Edit collection and costs £45, which may seem high for Primark, but compared to the £1,890 you’d spend for the Burberry version, it’s not that bad.

With a trendy oversized waistband and belt so you can tie the waist, the jacket is a must-have for autumn and winter.

The jacket’s product description online suggests that you layer it over your ‘most casual outfits’ for an instantly elevated look, or dress it up with a small dress and knee boots.

Perfect for creating the capsule wardrobe of your dreams, every piece in the Edit range is designed to transcend style and season!

“This item has an oversized silhouette, we recommend sizing down depending on your desired fit.”

However, you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on one before they’re gone. Shoppers are already rushing to get it them up.

One commented on the viral TikTok: “Omg needed”

And another said: “I love mine, such a classic.”

Iconic ’00s TV show gets its own Primark range

The trench coat isn’t the only reason to run to Primark now either; fashionistas also love the brand’s viral cozy sweaters.

The £17 item comes in a range of colors and offers an oversized fit for autumn and winter layering.

Made from 52% polyester, the sweater is “not itchy at all” according to a fashion fan on TikTok.

The poster explained that the rest of the material is 36% acrylic, 10% wool and 2% spandex.

She wore it over an oversized white T-shirt and paired it with light denim jeans.

The TikToker also demonstrated how she would style the gray sweater, adding a brown leather handbag to the look.

She said she saw it in black, baby blue and a ‘warm sand colour’ at her local Primark.

“I wore mine pink So much last year, so I’m so happy I got my hands on the gray one!” she wrote in the caption of the clip.

She bought the look in a size smaller and tried it on for her audience.

Her followers shared their thoughts on the item in the comments section.

“Please tell me they have them in black,” one eager shopper wrote.

“I wish it was fall all year round,” said another TikTok user.

“It looks so cozy,” a third person commented.

Primark’s best buys for autumn

Going to Primark soon? Keep an eye on these articles.

Here, Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals her top 6 purchases at Primark this autumn.

Jacket£60
I know what you’re thinking: ‘£60 for Primark?’ Yes, it’s a higher price tag than we’re used to from Primark, but it’s worth every penny.
It’s from their Edit range, which is more premium than the rest of their collection and is built to last.
It’s a blended wool blend that’s durable and warm, plus a timeless, straight silhouette that’s slightly oversized and will last this season and for years to come.

Bag, £16
Big bags are back… Finally in a big way.
This tote bag exudes luxury with its crocodile effect and burnt orange colour, plus it’s ideal for packing your laptop, lunch, spare shoes, handbag – basically everything you need for the day – all for £16.

Jacket£32
Field jackets can be found on the backs of celebrities and catwalk models this season, with designer brands Barbour, Burberry and Bottega all favoring the functional look.
Great for wearing over jeans or contrasting with a floral or flowy dress, they are the perfect transitional jacket.

Dress£18,
You may have seen, heard and read that leopard print isn’t going anywhere in the fall, so to define the trend, this dress is a must.
Sleeves? Bill. Midi length? Bill. Ultra flattering square neck? Bill. It has it all.
Combine with black knee-high boots or your favorite sneakers during the day and dress up with gold heels and accessories in the evening.

Jeans£16
Barrel, balloon, horseshoe: whatever you want to call them, this is this season’s must-have pant shape.
I tried Primark’s pair and they fit like a dream, are comfortable and flattering.
So if you don’t think you have anything that’s quite on trend, swapping your favorite denim for this style will bring you right up to date.

Boots, £24
It’s boot season and instead of feeling like you have to buy one in every color, length and height, it’s best to stick with a pair that you can wear with the majority of your wardrobe.
My jaw nearly hit the floor when I saw that this black, knee-high block heel with flat point and side zip (so no tug-of-war to get them off at the end of the day) was just £24.
If you buy one thing this season, it should be these.
