Primark taps into the ‘very understated’ trend with cute new bow tie line
IT’S a trend going viral on social media, with people bragging about their ‘very understated, very conscious’ actions.
And now Primark is getting in on the action, thanks to their adorable new line of cute, pink, girly home accessories.

The shop in the shopping street took over TikTok to share a video of some of their new arrivals, starting with a gorgeous dull pink bow-shaped cushion.
The pillow costs just £4 and people in the comments were desperate to get their hands on it.
“I need the bow pillow OMG,” one person wrote.
“Oh my god I want that bow shaped pillow it’s so cute I love it!” added another.

“I love the bow vibe. It’s so cute. I want it all!” commented a third.
“I need the pillow!” someone else insisted.
The video then showed a fake succulent in a white pot with a pink bow, as well as a small trinket bowl in the same theme.
There were also items to brighten up the kitchen, including a ‘Mon Cheri’ cherry print and a pack of tea towels for £3.50.
Next to it were white tulips in a transparent, rectangular vase, followed by an artificial orchid in a pot and a soft heart-shaped pillow.
Then there was a wavy mirror, a heart-shaped glass jar, a storage basket with pompoms, a spotted vase with lips on it, and a pink and purple checked Stanley cup.
“So cute, so demure!” Primark captioned the video.
And in the background there was a voiceover saying, “I’m very demure, I’m very cute – I’m very demure, mix those two together and I’m very demure.
“I deal with it very consciously, I deal with it very respectfully.
“I don’t do too much, I do just enough.
Where did the ‘very modest’ trend come from?
IT might be the biggest trend on social media right now. But where does the “very understated, very thoughtful”
Content creator Jools Lebron was the first to use the term in a TikTok video posted on August 5.
“See how I do my makeup for work? Very understated, very thoughtful,” they said in the video.
“I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t do too much. I’m very mindful when I’m at work.
“A lot of you girls go to the job interview as Marge Simpson and go to the job as Patty and Selma. Not demure!”
Since the video was posted online, it has been viewed more than 35 million times. Everyone has shown in their own way how ‘modest’ and ‘conscious’ he is.
