Primark unveils new cozy pajamas – but shoppers are furious at the huge price
WHEN it comes to sleepwear, this is one of the first ports of call for many shoppers looking for a bargain.
But Primark fans are being stunned by a pair of new winter pajamas, which will set them back a whopping £30 per pair.
The shop in Sligo went to TikTok to share a video of the “teddy bear cozy pajamas”.
The clip showed the two-piece hanging on the rail in the store: a button-down vest and matching pants.
The cream-colored ensemble features cute brown bears wearing maroon sweaters.
But Primark lovers were quick to notice that the trousers cost £18, as did the cardigan, which works out to a whopping £30 for the pair.

For comparison, you can buy a set of woolly pajamas from Marks & Spencer for just £18, the price of just one of the Primark set.
In comments on the TikTok video, shoppers were quick to judge Primark’s price, with one writing: “Primark has gone mad!!!”
“Primark is way too expensive,” agrees another.
“Seriously? Omg that’s bad,” said a third.
“Primark, at that price you are losing customers, especially with the cost of the greed crisis!” someone else warned.
“I thought the whole point of Primark was to be a budget-friendly store?” another wondered.
“Why is it half my salary though?” someone else asked.
When someone else said the PJs should be sold as two pieces because people have different sizes at the top and bottom, another added: “I understand they need to keep opinions separate on different sizes but to make a Splitting the set and increasing its price to PJS to €36 is crazy!”
While another wrote: “Wait until the January sale and they’ll be less than half the price because no mug is going to pay that for a pair of primarni pajamas!”
The history of Primark

The retailer now has 193 stores in the UK and 441 stores worldwide, with the aim of having 530 stores by the end of 2026.
Others were desperate for pajamas, with one convinced they were perfect to wear on a cozy Christmas day at home.
“We need these for Christmas day lol,” another added.
“These look comfortable!” someone else gushed.
