Primark worker praises ‘game-changer’ £3.50 beauty product after in-store makeover
A PRIMARK employee has revealed the breakthrough beauty product you need for a radiant summer look – and it costs just £3.50.
Staff member Lucy was given a makeover by a colleague at the bargain chain’s Sauchiehall Street store in Glasgow last weekend.
She achieved her tanned look by covering her entire face with makeup from Primark.
Her colleague explained about the makeover that she used a Prep and Perfect Primer, a Dewy Skin Tint and a £5 Flawless Glow, a dupe of Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter, as a base for Lucy.
Next, she applied the store’s own brand liquid concealer in the color vanilla.
She revealed a beauty trick: she used a darker shade of the flawless cover concealer, which costs £3.50 as a cream bronzer, and then set it with a £1 powder bronzer.
“Using our new concealer to give your face a tan is a real revolution,” she emphasized.
Lucy was then given a liquid blush and highlighter on her cheeks, after which baking soda and a powder puff were used to set the skin under her eyes.
Her colleague completed her radiant look with the £3.50 sculpt and freeze brow wax and the £3 3D lash effect mascara.
The video showed Lucy’s final result and said: “Finished look, in love. Glowy summer makeup.”
In total, the complete make-up bag with supplies to create Lucy’s look costs just £52.
For comparison, Charlotte Tilbury’s perfect filter alone costs £39.
While you’re browsing the beauty department, you can also look for an essential item for the gloomy weather.
Just because the sun isn’t shining through the sky doesn’t mean you can’t have a beautiful glow.
Primark staff in Perth show off their must-have summer tanning products to get you looking Ibiza-ready.
And the best news is they’re available to buy from just £3.50.
An employee shared the range online, saying: “This is the place to go for all your tanning needs because summer isn’t summer this year.”
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
HOW does Primark do it? Keep delivering on-trend items at such unbelievable prices? According to bosses, it comes down to four things.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to them they can save by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes represent the “latest trends”, “they do not use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores.” This includes things like “asking suppliers to package our t-shirts so they can go straight on the shelves.”
