Primark’s viral sweaters are back – I wore them all winter and bought another color
A PRIMARK customer really liked the store’s winter collection, especially the knitted sweater.
She encouraged other fashion lovers to stock up on this budget-friendly wardrobe classic before the cold weather sets in.
In her viral videoTikTok user Freya Watkins (@freyaa_watkins) showed her followers the comfy sweater and encouraged them to ‘run to Primark’.
The item retails for £17 and comes in a range of colours. It has an oversized fit and is ideal for layering in autumn and winter.
Freya told her audience that the sweater is made of 52% polyester and “doesn’t itch at all”.
The poster stated that the rest of the material is 36% acrylic, 10% wool and 2% spandex.
She said she saw it in black, baby blue and a “warm sand colour” at her local Primark.
The TikTokker isn’t a new fan of the look, though. She explains that she’s already bought a different color.
“I wore my pink one SO much last year so I’m so glad I was able to get the grey one!” she wrote in the clip’s caption.
Freya bought the look in a size small and adapted it to her audience.
She wore it over an oversized white T-shirt and paired it with light denim jeans.
The TikToker also showed how she would style the gray sweater, adding a brown leather handbag.
Freya explained that she “loves fall fashion” and finds the look “so cozy.”
Her followers shared their thoughts on the item in the comments.
“Please tell me they have them in black too,” wrote one excited customer.
“I wish it was fall all year round,” said another TikTok user.
“It looks so cozy,” a third person commented.
Primark’s best deals for autumn
Heading to Primark soon? Keep an eye out for these items.
Here, Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals her top six Primark buys this autumn.
Coat£60
I know what you’re thinking: ‘£60 for Primark?’ Yes, it’s more expensive than we’re used to from Primark, but it’s worth every penny.
This one is from their Edit range, which is more expensive than the rest of their collection and is built to last.
It is a wool blend that is durable and warm, and has a timeless straight silhouette that is slightly oversized and will last not only this season but also beyond.
Bag, €16
Big bags are back… Finally, in a big way.
This bag exudes luxury with its croc effect and dark orange colour. Plus it’s ideal for carrying your laptop, lunch, change of shoes, bag – basically everything you need for the day. And all for £16.
Jacket£32
Field jackets are very popular this season with celebrities and catwalk models. Designer brands like Barbour, Burberry and Bottega wear the utilitarian look.
They are great to wear over jeans or as a contrast to a floral or flowy dress. They are also the perfect in-between jacket.
Dress£18,
You’ve probably seen, heard and read that leopard print won’t go away at all in the fall. To illustrate the trend, this dress is a must-have.
Sleeves? Check. Midi length? Check. Ultra-flattering square neck? Check. It’s got it all.
Pair it with black over-the-knee boots or your favorite sneakers during the day and go for a chic look in the evening with gold heels and accessories.
Jeans£16
Barrel-shaped, balloon-shaped, horseshoe-shaped – whatever you call them, they are this season’s must-have trouser styles.
I tried on a pair from Primark and they fit great, are comfortable and flattering.
So if you think you don’t have anything that meets the fashion, you can trade in your favorite denim for this model and be completely up-to-date again.
Bootand, £24
It’s boot season and instead of feeling like you have to buy boots in every color, length, and height, opt for one pair that you can wear with most of your wardrobe.
My jaw nearly dropped when I saw that these black, knee-high, block heel, flat toe and side zip shoes (so I don’t have to take them off at the end of the day) were just £24.
If you buy one thing this season, make it this.
“I have a navy version, I love it so much,” said another impressed viewer.
“I have green ones, they are so comfortable,” one TikTok user agreed.
“I never got the pink one, I’m still sad about it,” wrote another follower.
“I still have mine from last year,” someone said.
“I want the pink one back,” said another Primark customer.
