The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro offers head-to-toe HD video and 3D motion detection with both a bird’s-eye view zone and a bird’s-eye view feature. In low light, it uses enhanced image sensors so the image is clear whether it’s day or night, and package alerts let you know when a package has been delivered (although an additional subscription is required) in a specific zone. It also works with Alexa.

In his Ring Battery Doorbell Pro review, CNET chief security editor Tyler Lacoma found that the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro is “a master at keeping an eye on the front of your home, with excellent visual and audio clarity. The incredible number of features it offers A ton of customizations to work with and some of the best cloud video sharing options I’ve ever seen.”

While noting that it will take some time for newcomers to learn the app and that there are some issues with packet detection, Lacoma still felt that the positives far outweighed the few negatives. And this was without current $80 off taken into consideration.
