“During the meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the India-France Strategic Partnership as well as their shared vision of bilateral cooperation and international partnership set out in the Horizon 2047 Roadmap and other bilateral statements,” the Indian government said in a statement. . Both leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including the Indo-Pacific, where France is an established power.
“The two leaders commended the strengthening of ties in trade, investment and technology, including in digital technology and AI, as well as the India-France partnership in digital public infrastructure,” the government said.
“In this context, Prime Minister Modi welcomed President Macron’s initiative to host the upcoming AI Action Summit in France,” the government said.
