Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 74: BJP, NDA leaders wish them birthday | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 on Tuesday as top leaders of the BJP and NDA extended their terms birthday wishes and praised his leadership.
Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his heartfelt wishes to Prime Minister Modi and praised him for “bringing positive changes in the lives of his countrymen through his tireless hard work, perseverance and foresight”.
“I pray to God for your health and long life,” the interior minister said.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called Prime Minister Modi the “successful Prime Minister of India” while wishing him on his birthday.
“Many congratulations and best wishes to the successful Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, on his birthday. Not only India, but the entire world has seen and experienced his far-sighted and strong leadership. Modiji has led the country with full preparedness, focus and austerity and continues to do so,” Rajnath Singh wrote on X.

BJP leader JP Nadda hailed Prime Minister Modi’s leadership as an “inspiration for millions of BJP workers”.
“I extend hearty congratulations on his birthday to revered Shri Narendra Modi ji, the successful Prime Minister, who strives every moment to fulfil the mantra of ‘Antyodaya’ and is committed to the service of the nation and upliftment of the people,” the BJP leader wrote.

Tripura CM Manik Saha also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his birthday and called him the “great son of Maa Bharati”.
“Your vision for a stronger, prosperous India resonates in everyone’s hearts. May your dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment continue to transform India and inspire generations to come!” Saha said.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his birthday and wished him “good health and long life”.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is moving towards a economic superpower“I wish him the strength to fulfil his vision of a developed India by 2047. Maharashtra is also making every effort to fulfil PM Modi’s vision of making the country a 5 trillion economy. I want to say that the 21st century is India’s century because the captain of the country is PM Modi. I wish him a very happy birthday,” CM Shinde said.
On his 74th birthday, Prime Minister Modi will be in Odisha to launch a series of projects, including 26 lakh PM Awas Houses at Gadakana in Bhubaneswar and Subhadra Yojna.
According to Bhubaneswar police chief Sanjeev Panda, after arriving at Bhubaneswar airport, Prime Minister Modi will proceed to Gadakana slum, near Sainik School in Bhubaneswar.
During his visit to the slum, Prime Minister Modi will interact with the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Awas.
Subhadra Yojana, which aims to provide financial assistance to at least one crore women, is launched by Prime Minister Modi at Janta Maidan.
Each beneficiary of the scheme will receive Rs 50,000 over a period of five years, with Rs 10,000 distributed annually in two installments.
