Prince William is named the world’s sexiest bald man for the second year in a row – as he beats major movie stars to top spot
Prince William has been named the world’s sexiest bald man for two years in a row, after the royal recently debuted a rougher look that had fans gushing over his facial hair.
A new study placed the Prince of Wales, 42, ahead of contenders like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Stanley Tucci, Thierry Henry and Vin Diesel – as the future King of Britain retained his crown as the most popular man without hair in 2024.
The study ranked some of the world’s most famous bald men based on several factors including how shiny their heads are, the golden ratio of their faces, height and smile – and William achieved a near-perfect score.
The research from PR agency Reboot Online also tracked media perception and ‘sexy’ global search interest, with William’s recent appearances in South Africa for the Earthshot initiative likely to have seen fans’ inquiries about him skyrocket.
This isn’t the first time William has been recognized as the world’s most chic bald man; After securing first place in 2021, he dropped to second place in 2022 before regaining his title in 2023.
Prince William has been named the world’s sexiest bald man for two years in a row based on a new study that evaluated scalp shine, search interest, golden ratio, height and smile.
This year he scored an impressive 9.9 out of a possible 10 points based on the shine of his scalp, his smile and facial proportions.
Right behind William, Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson moved into second place – after placing seventh on the 2023 list, with a score of 8.9 out of 10.
American basketball star Shaquille O’Neal broke into the top three after being ranked as the ninth best-looking bald man in 2023.
Professional surfer Kelly Slater, who was recently spotted catching waves with Prince Harry in California, came in fourth place, earning high scores for his golden ratio, the glow of his scalp and his smile.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews and 79-year-old Taxi star Danny DeVito were in fifth and sixth place respectively, while Samuel L Jackson, former Arsenal superstar Henry and The Hunger Games actor Tucci rounded out the list.
Vin Diesel fell to last place after taking first place in 2022, notably beating William that year.
Earlier this month, royal fans swooned over William’s new beard as the father-of-three traveled to Cape Town, South Africa, where the 2024 Earthshot Prize winners were announced.
William enjoyed lunch during an official appearance in Cape Town on November 7, as he greeted crowds of well-wishers who swarmed the bay hoping to catch a glimpse of him.

While addressing the gathering, a fan intervened and shouted, “I love the beard,” to which William replied, “Oh, thank you,” while stroking his facial hair.
William also received praise this weekend after X users spotted his loving gestures towards the Princess of Wales in her most high-profile appearance yet since completing her chemotherapy treatment.
The royal couple joined senior members of the family for the British Legion’s Festival of Remembrance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on November 9, with William’s love for Kate on full display.
Footage from the event showed Prince William lightly and lovingly holding the upper waist and back of Princess Kate as they were led into London’s famous Music Hall.
Body language expert Judi James told MailOnline that this indicated the royal couple ‘couldn’t keep their hands off each other’ and that in the future they will be ‘much more open about showing the strength of their love’.
She added that Prince William’s haste to join the princess, as they placed hands on each other’s waists and stepped closer, showed “mutual support, protection and affection.”
Meanwhile, the father-of-three has received a lot of support from Firm fans over his stubble, with some calling him ‘hot’ and ‘handsome’ for growing it out.
It’s not the first time the prince has dabbled in facial hair: in 2008, he set pulses racing by growing a beard over the holidays, claiming strangers didn’t recognize him.

And despite claiming on Christmas Day that he would shave it off, he kept the fuzz for several weeks.
William and his beard made headlines last year after his brother Prince Harry, 39, claimed in his explosive memoir Spare that the siblings had fallen out over facial hair.
Harry said the Prince of Wales told him to shave off his beard before his wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018.
Since it is customary to be clean-shaven when dressed in military uniform, the groom was expected to have shaved prior to his wedding ceremony.
However, when Harry got permission from his grandmother to keep the facial hair, he said William “became furious.”
Earlier this year, Prince William set pulses racing when he showed off his ‘handsome’ beard as he appeared with Kate in a star-studded message to Team GB.
Reacting to the video, royal fans were fascinated by William and his beard, with one person writing on X: ‘Prince William with his stubble is hot.’
Another user urged him to ‘keep the beard’, while a fourth added: ‘William, please keep growing that beard!’
