Princess Carolina de Bourbon has said that she has ‘incredible happiness to live’ after the Italian heiress was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle accident.

Carolina, who turned 21 last year, went to Instagram earlier tonight to share a series of photos of herself in a hospital in Monaco, while encouraging her followers to ‘wear a helmet’ while cycling and added: “Mine saved my life.”

She insisted on her followers to ‘drive with care’ and to wear a ‘right helmet’.

“Mine saved my life,” she went on, before she thanked her medical team in the Center Hospitalier Princessse Grace for their ‘expert care during those critical days’ after she was brought in.

The Italian Socialite also praised the first responds on the spot ‘whose fast and decisive actions in those first moments’ after the accident ‘made the difference’.

Several of her followers hurried to the commentary section to wish Carolina a quick recovery, as one person wrote: ‘I hope you get better soon. Be careful. ‘

Another said, “I wish you a quick recovery.”

A third translated comment was: ‘I’m so sorry and can get better quickly. May God protect you. ”

It comes after Carolina has documented her trip to Monaco for this year’s Grand Prix on Instagram.
