Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia made a stunning appearance today at the Olympic Games in Paris. They were the latest European royals to attend the event, along with King Willem-Alexander and his family.

Princess Leonor, 18, and her younger sister Infanta Sofia of Spain, 17, were photographed laughing and chatting as they watched a beach volleyball match.

The duo seemed completely engrossed in the match and clapped enthusiastically from the stands at the Eiffel Tower Stadium.

The royal duo sat next to Alejandro Blanco, the president of the Spanish Olympic Committee, who wore a red and yellow uniform in support of his country.

Leonor, the heir to the Spanish throne, was photographed wearing a navy polo shirt with the colours of her country’s flag around the hem of the sleeves.

She paired it with white pants and her pink Paris Olympics lanyard and gold earrings.

Sofia wore a simple yet stylish ensemble consisting of a white polo shirt and trendy light-colored jeans.

The couple looked chic as they opted to wear their brunette locks loose and sported natural, glossy makeup.

The Dutch royal family was also present, but they chose to watch the preliminary round women’s volleyball match between Turkey and the Netherlands.

They appeared en masse on stage, all dressed in at least one bright orange item of clothing, to show their love for their country at the South Paris Arena.

King Willem-Alexander, 57, was photographed wearing a Fila Team Netherlands cap, along with a matching jacket, white polo shirt and gray pants.

His wife, Queen Máxima, 53, looked stylish in a camel brown combi-set consisting of a pencil skirt and a blazer.

She got into the spirit of the game by wrapping an orange scarf around her shoulders, a look similar to Princess Amalia’s yesterday.

Amalia – heir to the Dutch throne – opted for dark jeans, a mandarin-colored jacket and a blue top.

Her younger sister, Princess Alexia, 19, wore a white baseball jacket with the Dutch flag embroidered on the side.

She wore black pants and layered gold jewelry to add some extra spice to her look.

She was photographed yesterday taking photos of the event with her mobile phone and openly chewing gum as she focused on the 100m breaststroke final.

In a photo of the teenager (the second of three daughters Máxima shares with her husband King Willem-Alexander), her tongue sticks out of her mouth, with her gums clearly visible.

Meanwhile, a few seats away, the queen can be seen looking at the royal young man, with an expression of annoyance on her face.

She was also accompanied by her daughter Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, 20, and King Willem-Alexander. Their youngest daughter, 17-year-old Princess Ariane, is not believed to have entered into the engagement.

Although her facial expression seemed irritated, the rest of the royal outfit was impeccable as always. The queen wore a striking dress with a multitude of bright colors.

Their presence at the pool is not the only event that the Dutch royal family attends.

Queen Máxima and her husband King Willem-Alexander (57) watched the final of their country’s mountain bike cross-country on Sunday.

The Dutch Pieterse Puck finished in fourth place with a time of 1:29:25. She finished just a few minutes behind the United States, Sweden and France, who took gold together with Ferrand Prevot Pauline.

Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium also attended previous events at this year’s Olympic Games.
