Princess Sofia of Sweden brings the sunshine in a yellow ombré dress for the wedding of Princess Martha Louise of Norway and shaman Durek

Princess Sofia of Sweden looked the epitome of autumnal elegance as she attended the wedding of Princess Martha Louise of Norway and shaman Durek Verrett on Saturday.

The 39-year-old arrived at the extravagant event wearing a flowing, ombre yellow dress, alongside her husband, Prince Carl Phillip.

Sofia exuded elegance in the long silk dress with a narrow waist and long sleeves by Swedish fashion designer Lilli Jahilo.

The dress’s bright, warm color and long sleeves were a fitting choice for the cold summer day in the Norwegian town of Geiranger, where temperatures averaged just 14 degrees Celsius.

Sofia was seen toting a fluffy white sweater under her arm during the wedding ceremony, just in case she needed some extra warmth.

Sofia added an extra touch of sparkle to her stylish outfit with a €5,700 Bigli Jewels ring on her left middle finger.

It is not the first time that the Swedish princess has worn Lilli Jahilo’s dress.

Sofia is no stranger to repeating outfits: in December 2022, she also wore the ombre outfit to the Nobel Prize Winners’ Dinner at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.

Princess Sofia was one of 350 guests at the wedding of Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise, 52, to 49-year-old Durek Verrett, who claims to be a sixth-generation shaman from California.

Märtha Louise and Princess Sofia have been good friends for years thanks to the close relationship between the Swedish and Norwegian royal families.

The newlyweds got married in picturesque Geiranger, one of Norway’s biggest tourist attractions, situated on a fjord with stunning views.

The guests left the wedding tent shortly after 3pm local time and walked along a red carpet to the nearest hotel reception.

One of the American guests revealed that the wedding was “absolutely beautiful” and added that he “loved it”. According to the attendee, the event featured gospel music, as well as some hymns.

Durek announced in June that Pastor Margit Lovise Holte would perform their wedding.

Also involved was Pastor Michael Beckwith, who was a guest on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul podcast. The guest said that the pastor had come from Los Angeles to Norway to give an “American-style sermon.”

Märtha, who describes herself as ‘spiritual’ and claims to be clairvoyant, entered into a relationship with Durek after she overcame the loss of her first husband

Today is the last day of the couple’s three-day wedding, and they’re wrapping up the festivities with brunch.

Märtha, who describes herself as “spiritual” and claims to be clairvoyant, began dating Durek after she recovered from the loss of her first husband, Ari Behn, who committed suicide in 2019.

But it has not been easy for the princess: she was forced to give up her job as a member of the royal family because of her fiancé’s controversial views.

Durek wrote in a book that he is convinced that childhood cancer is caused by unhappiness.

He published ‘Spirit Hacking’ in the US in 2019, but publishers banned it in Norway because of its unsubstantiated claims.

After reading a translation of the book from English, the publisher said they were shocked by a number of unsubstantiated statements made by Durek in the book.
