Chilling warning to pro-Palestinian protesters in Sydney

A chilling message appeared on a screen ahead of a pro-Palestinian rally in Sydney on Sunday, warning protesters that flying Hezbollah symbols is considered a criminal offence.

Lidia Thorpe appears at the pro-Palestine rally in Melbourne

Independent Senator Lidia Thorpe appeared as thousands of protesters gathered in Melbourne.

Organizer Nasser Mashni addressed demonstrators outside the State Library.

“There are a lot of agitators trying to get you to say something you might regret, which will hurt our movement. Ignore fascists,” he said.

‘Embrace all that we are, we are a movement of love. A movement of inclusivity. A movement of belonging. If you have any hatred here, you don’t belong here.’

Top cop warns arrests will be made for bad behavior

A top police officer has warned unruly pro-Palestinian protesters that they risk arrest for bad behavior.

NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley issued the warning on Sunday ahead of planned protests in Sydney.

“If everyone does the right thing, there won’t be any problem,” she said.

“But if you don’t, you can expect to be arrested. It’s that simple. There will be no tolerance for misconduct. There will be no tolerance for racist comments, no tolerance whatsoever from the New South Wales Police.

“We don’t want the war in the Middle East to play out on our streets in Sydney. That anger doesn’t belong here.’
