Queen Máxima of the Netherlands shines in a canary yellow ensemble as she continues to work on financial inclusion

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands looked typically cheerful today in a canary yellow ensemble as she continued her work on financial inclusion in Zoetermeer, in the west of the country.

The Dutch royal, 53, made her entrance in a lemon-coloured coat, which she wore open to reveal an equally striking draped neck top and wide-leg trousers, both in the same bright shade.

Máxima appears to be a big fan of the color after she was recently pictured in a yellow silk dress at a tech event in Singapore.

The mother of three teamed her outfit with a pair of tan round-toe boots and a matching clutch, which she carried under her arm.

The radiant queen completed her look with a pair of gold statement earrings.

Máxima, an economics graduate and special advocate for financial health of the UN Secretary General (UNSGSA), was visiting a company called Pension3daagse, also known as the Money Wise platform.

As honorary chair of the platform, she acts as a special advisor and works with stakeholders to increase financial self-reliance initiatives.

It was a busy week for the Dutch queen; last Thursday she was in Singapore for the FinTech festival.

Máxima also met with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Istana Presidential Palace in her capacity as Special Advocate for Financial Health of the United Nations Secretary-General (UNSGSA).

Dressed in a silk yellow dress from the Belgian fashion house Natan, she looked as youthful as ever.

The bright ensemble reflected Maxima’s radiant expression as she appeared in good spirits for the second day of her three-day trip.

Since 2015, she has been seen several times in the dress, which was elegantly decorated with a woven floral motif and completed with a flattering belt.

Maxima also attended a fireside chat event during the Singapore FinTech Festival, which takes place from November 6 to 8, and is the reason for her visit.

The Singapore FinTech Festival is the largest of its kind in the world. The annual event aims to recognize innovative FinTech solutions, financial institutions and technology companies.

Máxima was recently appointed Special Advocate for Financial Health by the UN Secretary General (UNSGSA).

In her new role, she will continue to campaign for equal access to financial tools and literacy to help people secure their future.

As part of her former role at the UN as the Secretary General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, Máxima previously discussed at the annual tech festival the importance of technological innovations in improving access to financial services.

She called for greater access to checking and savings accounts, insurance, loans, pensions and digital payments – for the 1.7 billion adults worldwide who do not have access to these basic financial services.
