Queensland woman dies after horrific lawnmower incident in Upper Lockyer

Detectives are treating the death of a woman killed in a lawnmower tragedy as suspicious, as the address is known to have been the site of a history of domestic violence.
The lawnmower is believed to have overturned around 3am on Tuesday, crushing the woman beneath it. The accident happened on a property on Thomas Road in Upper Lockyer, near Toowoomba in south-east Queensland.
Emergency services arrived quickly on the scene, but the victim, aged around 40, died from her injuries.
Detectives gathered evidence Tuesday at the home, which has been declared a crime scene, Toowoomba Chronicle defeated.
Agreements were reportedly made about domestic violence between the residents of the rural home.
As part of the investigation, detectives interviewed local residents and collected CCTV footage.
The police will prepare a report for the coroner.
